If a child/dependent no longer needs to be linked to the person responsible for him/her, you can separate their connection by following these steps:
1. Go to Clients
2. Select the person responsible for the dependent in your client list
3. Go to Relationship
4. Click on trash can icon of the name of the dependent you wish to delete
Please note that:
Clicking on the trash can icon will not delete the relationship profile. Only the link between the two profiles will be removed. This will allow you to separate the child (or relationship) from their parent or guardian and update their contact information afterward.
Even though the dissociation has been completed correctly, it is normal for the parent’s or guardian’s name to still appear in parentheses on appointments that were created prior to this change.
