How SMS reminders work

By default, the appointment reminder is sent by email as a priority.

It is important to note that the SMS reminder will only be sent if :

  • the client did not confirm their presence via the first reminder sent by email

  • the client does not have an email entered within his file

Once a reminder has been sent (except if has not responded to the email reminder), no further reminders will be sent.

Also, for an SMS reminder to be sent, a telephone number must be saved within their client's file.


What's new ?

  • From now on, clienets will receive a link to confirm or cancel the appointment. This link will always start with www.gordv.ca. As shows below :

  • Professionals who are benefiting from the Essential and Premium plan will now have the option to request their cancellation reason, via the link included in the SMS reminders. The reason mentioned by your client will then appear in the appointment notes.
