It is possible to add a waiver in the online appointment booking process. The waiver will allow you to clarify your policies for your clients.

Please note that these steps can only be done by the account owner, or the administrator.

To setup a waiver, follow the next steps:

1. Go to Settings

2. Click on Communications

3. Then on Waivers

4. Click on Add

5. Give a name to your waiver (since you can create as many as you need to)

6. Select the language you are going to write this waiver in

7. Check the "Require clients to accept waiver on every booking" box if you would like it to be shown for all online bookings. If this is not checked, this means it will only be presented to them the first time they booked an appointment online

8. Enter the content of the waiver in the Text field and add dynamic text or include sections in your waiver to allow clients to accept or refuse each individual section.

A. To personalize your consent forms using dynamic fields and adapt them to your selections, include the following elements:

  • Client Name

  • Client Email

  • Professional Name

  • Professional Email

  • Professional Title

  • Business Name

  • Business Address

  • Service Name

  • Service Location

  • Signatory Name

  • Signatory Email

B. To allow clients to accept or decline specific sections, select “Accept Yes/No.”

C. To make certain sections mandatory, select “Accept Required.” A checkbox will then need to be accepted by the client in order to submit the form.

D. You can select to use an existing sample waiver.

More details:

*No action is required in the Version menu. Versions increase automatically when changes are made, unless no client has viewed the previous version (in that case, the version number will remain the same).

**The consent form appears during online booking, after the client enters their personal information and before confirming the appointment (or before payment, if online payments are enabled).

***The client must click “I have read and understood the above form and I ACCEPT” to complete their booking.

You can see if a client has accepted the waiver by going in his/her client's profile, under Waivers:
