How to Synchronize QuickBooks and GOrendezvous

Here are the steps to follow in order to synchronize Quickbooks and GOrendezvous:

Phase One

A) If you already have a QuickBooks account, please follow the following steps. If not, please refer to stage B)

1.Click on Settings

2.Click on Business

3.Click on Apps

4.Click on "Enable" under Quickbooks

5.Read and accept the text then click on Continue

6.Enter your GOrendezvous password and click on Continue

7.Sign into your Quickbooks account

8.To synchronize your QuickBooks client list to GOrendezvous, click on Synchronize Data

B) If you do not have a QuickBooks accounts, follow the steps below to create one:

1.Create your QuickBooks account

2. Set up sales tax in Quickbooks:

3. Choose your location

4.Create your taxes

on your QuickBooks

5.When done, refer to stage A and follow the steps to enable Quickbooks

Phase Two

Configure your taxes in Quickbooks

In your Quickbooks account:

1.Click on Taxes / Sales tax

2.Click on Manage sales tax

3. Make sure all of these taxes are active

Phase Three

Once the two apps are synchronized, you must link the taxes from QBO to GOrendezvous. These steps will have to be repeated for the different types of taxes:

1.Click on Account Settings

2.Click on Business

3.Click on Taxes

4.Choose the tax already created for the desired employee

5.In the QBO Tax Name dropdown menu, choose the tax that corresponds in QuickBooks

  • If you do apply GST and QST to your services, please choose GTS/QST - QC 9,975% for each one.

  • If you do apply only GST, choose GST

  • If no taxes are applicable, choose Exempt for both GST and QST

6.Click on Save


Then, you will have to set up the payment modes to link them to your QuickBooks ones. As a result, when you indicate on the appointment that the client has paid in cash or credit card, ... it will be updated on your QuickBooks. To proceed, follow the steps below:

1.Click on Account Settings

2.Click on Business

3.Click on Payment Modes

4.For each payment mode that is activated on your GOrendezvous account, you must indicate the QBO payment mode linked to it in QuickBooks and the QBO account name.

5.Click on Save

Then, when you create appointments on GOrendezvous and the appointments have been paid by your clients, everything will appear on your QuickBooks account. Click here to see how it works.
